GEMPORIA BUILD NEW STUDIO COMPLEX WITH MEGAHERTZ

Gemporia operate 6 television studios including a 24/7 teleshopping channel, from their facility in the West Midlands in the UK.
With aging equipment and a constantly changing production environment, the team were looking for an upgrade their entire facility.
We were able to supply them with new cameras, camera support, lenses and lighting for their studio and brand-new routing, processing, communications and production equipment for their CAR and galleries.

CNN ABU DHABI CHOOSE MEGAHERTZ FOR IP NEWS STUDIO PROJECT
CNN have new production facilities all over the world. Their Middle East facility in Abu Dhabi is due to move to a new building.
Megahertz are delighted to have been invited to collaborate with CNN once again, on what could be a ground breaking project for CNN and Megahertz.
SONY PLAYSTATION CHOOSE EVERTZ AND MEGAHERTZ
Sony Playstation have been working with Evertz for the media infrastructure in their London based Game testing facility.
Megahertz are pleased to be back working with Evertz on another exciting IP media project and over the moon to be working as a supplier to Sony Playstation for the first time.
VIRGIN MEDIA REFRESH THEIR SATELLITE SYSTEMS WITH MEGAHERTZ
Virgin media have asked MHz to help them out with the refurbishment of their TV headend system in West London and North West England.
Their satellite reception system is composed of more than 15 satellites and has multiple levels of redundancy but is in need of a refresh. We’re happy to be able to offer our services and help to keep them on air.

We were approached by live broadcast company Jackshoot TV, a client who captures content from multiple sources and delivers it to any digital platform as a live feed. The brief was to create a compact flexible production vehicle based on a Mercedes V-Class chassis, capable of multi-camera filming on location, HD editing and play-ins.
The vehicle build involved designing and fitting lighting, AC and DC power delivered through a combined Victron 12V inverter/charger, batteries, a desk for 2 operators, racks and patching panels. The vehicle also has 10Mbps data connectivity and multi-camera video switching.
Upon leaving our factory the new production OB was put straight out to work for IP broadcasting and mainly live streaming to web. The vehicle can handle up to 20 feeds in and out simultaneously at the same time and it is utilised for large events such as the BAFTAs, BRIT Awards and British Athletics for clients such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live.

As a designated Essential Service Provider, supplying products and services to the world’s news media and emergency responders, Megahertz continues to operate during this crisis.
The health and welfare of our staff and customers is our priority. Where possible, our staff are working from home, but the factory remains open with staff taking all the recommended precautions concerning social distancing, hand washing and increased cleaning.
We are encouraging customers not to visit our factory at this time, but if a visit is essential, you will need to contact us to arrange it before attending site. We kindly request that any visitors carefully follow the procedures posted at reception.
Our mobile support service is operating as normal for generator repairs, service or other breakdowns.
